USOP unifies practices across the country

USOP is an orthopedic full-service healthcare platform with over 10 practices across Southeastern US. USOP seeks to provide quality patient care while following a patient-first approach within their practices.

Prior to Jostle, USOP used basic local systems for storing information and communicating. With no concrete employee communication platform, they turned to Jostle for a platform that was accessible, easily manageable, and user-friendly.

Unifying their locations, improving communication, and strengthening relationships with partners and employees were their top priorities.

Using Jostle, they would implement effective onboarding processes and make it easier for physicians to communicate across locations.

How USOP uses Jostle

The USOP team built a strong community across their practices using Jostle:

  • It was important for USOP to implement an employee communication platform that enhanced communication with employees and physicians across practices in the US. Jostle allowed them to customize their pages based on location, which significantly improved communication amongst physical therapists and made it easier to find one another through Profiles.

  • Jostle’s Teams feature also enhances the employee experience for USOP, by attaching roles to each individual’s profile, followed by their supervisor, and the team they’re assigned to. This feature provides a concise organizational chart for USOP to divide employees into categories, and improve the searchability within the platform.

  • User profiles have been enhanced by importing photos of each user, which users can change whenever they want. They can customize their profile by creating a bio or adding contact information. Utilizing Jostle’s Discussion feature allows employees to interact easily. These features enhance the overall employee experience of using an integrated communication platform for USOP.

  • Previously, information was merely stored in local systems. USOP has now developed mobile applications to transfer information to doctors more easily, while using Jostle on each of their devices. The Library is an effective way for USOP to store and discover information more efficiently.

  • USOP utilized Jostle’s automating processes to improve efficiency within their organization, while also creating an effective onboarding process for new employees. They integrated their payroll system with Jostle to support the onboarding experience. With Jostle, USOP has been developing automated onboarding for their employees. Following orientation, new employees are sent a welcome email from Jostle to join, and complete their compliance training and introduction to the platform. Linking USOP’s policies to Jostle has been significantly beneficial for the overall onboarding process, and leveraging Jostle’s automating processes has allowed new employees to seamlessly transition and get introduced to the company.

  • To bring everyone together, USOP utilizes the News feature to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays, with the board providing helpful reminders for employees. USOP loves using Events to keep everyone informed of upcoming events and updates, creating a strong community within the platform.

Results

USOP has made great strides on improving communication and compliance across their 10 practices. The Jostle platform has allowed them to build a community and connect employees in different locations. USOP credits Jostle for its user-friendliness and effective training abilities within the platform. There has been positive feedback of their automated onboarding and offboarding processes from using Jostle. USOP continues to thrive and stay connected through Jostle, while developing new ways to make onboarding easier for new employees.
